ROOTS TO SHOOTS:
Celebrating ten years of Dewar Arts Awards in the visual and applied arts

Roots to Shoots showcased fourteen visual and applied artists supported early in their careers by a Dewar Arts Award. The exhibition celebrated exceptional talent, determination and commitment to creative practice through a rich mix of exhibits: jewellery, textile and fashion design, painting, sculpture and moving image work.

Alongside the exhibition we hosted a series of exciting events which allowed visitors to meet the artists, learn more about their techniques and take part in a workshop.
